मोसो ना पतित ना  पावन तोसर मोसो बिकारी ना तोसो उपकारी
मेरे है अवगुन तू गुनसागर जात रसातल ओट तिहारी (528)

Kabitt ( a poetic form) by Bhai Gurdass Bhalla, the great Sikh scholar of 18th century
 translated into English

Like thee there is no great master and none like me, the wretched, abandoned
Like thee there is no great donor and like me none a beggar so dependent
Like me there is none more despondent
Like thee there is none so benevolent
Like me there is none as ignorant
Like thee there is none so conversant
Like me there is none so decadent
Like thee there a purifier efficient
Like me there is none so malignant
Like thee there is none so benignant
full of sins me,O Lord  virtuous!
Falling ever  in  deep pit of vices
Be my shield  Lord ! Be my protector
Pull me out  carrying into thy shelter.
